A Texas Summer: The Big 2!

Hold up, 2?!? My baby is 2!?! (Ok, forget the fact its 11 months later and he is almost 3....) But yes, while in Texas, my 'baby' boy turned 2! He will always be my baby boy (though now he reminds me "I'm not a baby, I'm a big boy. But I'm little). I still can't believe 2 years have passed since I was blessed with this sweet little boy. He has brought me more joy than I could ever imagine.

By his actual birthday (July 12), he had already had his Little Gym party, small celebration with Mommy & Daddy, celebration with extended family...but there has to be more, right? Since it was nearing the wedding weekend, we drove to Katy to stay with Jaime on his birthday. And what better way to celebrate a 2-year old's birthday than dinner at the Rainforest Cafe! I think it was Heather's idea, and it couldn't have been more perfect. For some reason, however, Logan was a little cranky that night (hello terrible 2's!), so dinner was a little rough, but it was still a good time! Of course being at Katy Mills, we had to do a little shopping after eating =)

At 2 years Logan:

- in the middle of potty training and doing well; trip to TX put a little halt in plans, but he still would use the potty (by mid-August he had it down, and by Labor day he was wearing underwear all day)
-clothes: 2T shirts, some 24 months shirts; shorts were 18 months; couple of 2T, and even some 12 month...
-size 6 1/2 shoe
-well versed in colors, numbers 1-10, ABCs, and some songs
-loves the beach
-loves the pool
-loves to be outside
-not using sign language as much- because he says it all!
-more of 'I do it myself'
-stats: 24 lbs, 35 inches ( I think)

And time has not slowed down....I swear it has sped up.
