While discussing my love of horses to a friend, she informed me she owned a horse and that I could come ride whenever I wanted- and so could Logan. I of course was in, and Logan seemed to like the idea as well. So one Saturday morning, Joel, Logan and I headed to Aquabob Farms to meet Chris, and her horse Mufassa. He is an older horse and very gentle; all her kids have ridden, so I did not hesitate to let Logan ride. I rode around the arena first, so Logan could watch. He then joined me for a ride or 2 around the ring, but soon said 'Get off'. He meant me get off. So he rode by himself for quite a while. Chris gave Logan a tour of the barn- horses, cows, chickens- and Mommy got to ride for a while longer, even trotting and cantering. I had just as much fun, if not more, than Logan. The only thing he was not a fan of was the helmet. He fussed for a few minutes, but got over it once he was able to ride. I love riding, and was planning on doing more this summer, but not able to. Logan will be going back to ride very soon; every horse he comes across he wants to ride....
