Every fall, the Virginia Zoo has Military Appreciation Day, meaning all military and dependents get in free. So I am all about free, and its an ok zoo, but not one I would pay for more than once. So we decided to go right when they opened and beat the crowd. We went last year too, but I don't think Logan was as interested. This year he seemed to enjoy himself. He knew what lots of the animals were. His favorite was the tiger, which was a new exhibit. And there was a train, so he was a big fan of that too. It was a nice family day together.
