Going to the chapel....

The main reason for this trip to Texas was for my little sister's wedding. Ok, so she is not so little, and we are only 3 years apart, but still. She found a wonderful guy, James, and I am so happy to have him as my brother. He is so good to her. I was also happy because soon after getting married, they would be moving to DC for him to go to law school, so they would be much closer! The wedding was perfect- simple, beautiful, elegant- just like Angela. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day in Austin. I was maid of honor, and our cousin Theresa was the other bridesmaid. Logan was the ring bearer that didn't bear...He preferred to chase the peacocks and run around (and I am hoping there is a big difference between then at 2 and next May at almost 4 because he is in another wedding). Us girls started off with the usual pre wedding details- manicures and pedicures. My brother inlaw flew in that Thursday, so he took Logan and my car to pick up Joel while we were getting pretty nails. Later we had the rehearsal and lunch/dinner.

Almost all of my our family stayed at the Radisson by the Congress Ave Bridge, which was perfect. We enjoyed some pool time, viewing the bats, some good drinks, and Joel and I even got a date the night after the wedding to 6th street (no, no partying, we had a couple drinks, people watched, and were asleep by 1030). I spent some of the night before with my sister at her hotel. It was a wonderful weekend. I was (am) so happy for my sister.

I guess there is no better way to show how nice this weekend was then the pictures...get ready to scroll lots because I can only do one under another (for now)
