Since Logan was born, we have always gone to Texas for Christmas; his first Christmas we went in because I knew it would be my grandfather's last. His second Christmas we went in because I wanted to be with my grandmother during the difficult holiday season, and as a teacher I had 2 weeks off. This Christmas, however, we decided to stay in VA and have Christmas at our house, just our family. I did invite my sister and her husband, but they went to NYC =). Logan is getting old enough that I wanted to have a Christmas morning, make cookies for Santa, and wake up to see what Santa had brought him. As much as I missed seeing family and friends, I was so glad we decided to stay home. We had a wonderful Christmas as our little family. Logan was so excited to see what Santa had brought him, and opening up all his other presents. I couldn't help but think about next Christmas- Santa would be visiting 2 little people in our house =)
