Pumpkin Farm

Since Daddy had to work on Saturday, and the weather was beautiful, Logan and Mommy decided to take a trip to Hunt Club Farms. Ideally, I wanted to to Belmont Farms, where we went last year, and Daddy to come, but the the hour drive to Belmont didn't appeal to me. So my friend Brittany and her girls, Tessa and Maddie, met us at HCF.

It was a beautiful sunny day, though a tad on the windy side. Logan was not happy to be confined to the wagon, and once he was free, he didn't want it any other way (unless Tessa was with him). We started out at the petting zoo, and Logan was so excited! He loves animals, and there were new furry things everywhere! Lots of goats, and 1 sheep. He liked the goats. Later he got to pet a llama. Logan and Tessa enjoyed watching the turkeys and other birds too. They did a little playing in the hay, driving the tractor, and running around. There was a really nice play set, but it was too big for them (though they disagreed). Logan and I went on a hayride while the others waited (the girls were not happy about the hayride). We finished up with a funnel cake and picking out some little pumpkins. We had a wonderful time with our friends.

Logan and I finished our fun day together by going to Chik Fil A and the commissary. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my Saturday.
