Afternoons in the Park

So yeah, way behind, but since I am not going to work tomorrow and there are cookies in the oven, I figured I would make good use of my time and update (its not like there is a mound of laundry that needs attention or anything...)

We had our first taste of spring Friday, February 17th (odd since there was 4 inches of snow 8 days before...) but, nonetheless, I decided to take full advantage of the beautiful day- and Joel home early- and head to the city park here in Chesapeake. They have a real nice play area (more being constructed due to arson fire). Logan just liked walking around and climbing. He loves slides, but I think he was just as happy to be out and about. He watched one kid go down the slide head first, so of course he had to do it that way. Here is the monkey man enjoying his afternoon with Mommy & Daddy


A couple weeks later on the 26th, another nice afternoon found Logan and I at our neighborhood park (and I realized I need to get this boy some playclothes). I pulled Logan in his wagon and let him play for a little bit. There were several other kids there, some maybe too old (6th grade like, but throwing things and playing rough)for the area, and we didn't stay too long. Which Logan was ready to go anyway; he was mad cause Daddy didn't come. So we went home to shoot hoops
