Christmas Town

On December 30th, Joel & I took Logan, along with Joel's brother Stephen, to Busch Garden's Christmas Town. yes, I know it was passed Christmas, but we didn't have time before. So we decided to make an evening of it and head up to Williamsburg.

We got there after dark, all bundled up. First stop was some food, but quickly because we wanted to take Logan to see a show- Sesame Street Christmas. Logan was just sitting in my lap taking in the sights of the auditorium, when all of a sudden Big Bird, Cookie Monster, and of course, Elmo, came out on the stage singing and dancing. The look on Logan's face was priceless. He was in awe. Once the shock of seeing him live wore off, he was pointing and yelling with a huge smile, "Elmo!!" It just made me so happy to see him so excited. The characters just sang and danced to Christmas Carols. Bubbles came down from the ceiling and that was exciting too. Logan was just so happy! So mommy was just as happy =)

The rest of the night we just walked around and looked at different things. It was really beautiful. Tons of Christmas trees, and other Christmas decorations. And there was still 8-10 inches of snow on the ground, so it just made it perfect.

It was a very nice evening with the family, and I can't wait to take Logan back next year!

Was it very crowded? We didn't go this year, but we went last year on opening night (the only night we could do it since Jarrod was leaving on deployment the next morning). It was PACKED, and everything had huge lines. If we go next year, we may try to go after Christmas if the crowds weren't bad.

No it wasn't crowded at all! It was cold though. But I am thinking next year we will go after also, unless we go during a weeknight.
