This Trace Adkins song played on my way into work this morning, and I couldn't help but think how true the lyrics are. Time IS going by way too fast. Now I know that this was something that I was told in high school; that the older I got, the quicker time would pass by. Of course I was like "whatever" and ignored it. But wow, it is true. College years started out slow, then flew by. Its been 5 years since graduation; almost 10 since high school. How crazy is that? The funny thing is that when I am with my friends, the we-were-giggling-11-year-olds-and-will-be-bitchy-old-lady type friends, I still see us as those high school seniors or college freshman ready to take on the world.
But we aren't. We are adults. We are married, have real jobs and bills to pay. We are starting and raising families. Its still crazy to think. Is this where I saw myself 10 years ago? Probably not; but I wouldn't change it for the world!
I am going to cherish every moment I have with my little family and wonderful friends, and know that the ride only gets better from here. And be thankful that I have such truly amazing and wonderful friends as my passengers.

HAHA! I knew you would say that! Or have to come over here and kick my butt; but at least you would have to come visit me first. Love ya too sunshine! (oh and if you think those are bad, of some way worse ones to prove what big dorks we were!)
