(4 months later...I have had my hands full)
I knew early on in the year what I wanted the theme of Logan's 3rd birthday to be: John Deere. For one, I knew he would be getting a JD Gator, and secondly, every boy need a JD themed party. Well, I guess John Deere is not popular in VA cause I couldn't find party decor. And since I waited until the week before, I couldn't order. but green and yellow are easy, and it worked.
We didn't have anything fancy, just a couple of pools set up for the kids, toys, and of course food. Joel manned the grill- even in the pouring rain! He got extra stars on his man-card for that.
A very talented Coastie wife made the cake and cupcakes (same lady
from last year). She did a fantastic job! Of course no birthday that I
am in charge of would be completed without Blue Bell- 3 gallons to be
exact! It lasted me a little over a month.

Logan had a
great time with his friends! The funny part was his girls- about 4 of
them that were all about Logan. And not wanting to share. There were
arguments over who would sit by him for cupcakes. It did not end there.
Finally it was time for the big gift- the John Deere Gator. We all
walked out and Joel brought it out of the garage. Logan's face lit up
and he ran to it. His friend Thomas was the first to be co-pilot. Then
the girls wanted to ride. All of them. I was worried there was going to
be a big fight...Logan just wanted to drive; he didn't care who was with
him. I guess its true what Kenny said about tractors.
